Rob Miller has been a Scout for most of his life, and earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1983. Since earning that rank, he has continued as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America in his home council, the Indian Waters Council in Columbia, South Carolina. It is there where his sons Jackson, a Life Scout, and Harrison, a Tenderfoot – both in Troop 45 – are working to earn their Eagle Rank.
Rob has served the Indian Waters Council as a District Chairman, Marketing Committee Chairman, Properties Committee Member as well as sitting on numerous FOS committees. He co-founded the Barstow Bears, a group of local Scout volunteers who work together to improve facilities, build new Adirondacks and implement a maintenance program at Camp Barstow. He is currently on the Council Advisory Board and the Southern Region - Area 5 Board.
For all his contributions, Rob has been awarded the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver.
Happily married to Dee Anne, Rob is the co-founder and President of Catch the Vision International, a non-profit Christian-based mission organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people worldwide.
